About Seventh-day Adventists

The Seventh-day Adventist Church's focus is Jesus.  It is a Protestant church with over 21.9 million members worldwide (as of June 2023), including more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance the quality of life for all people everywhere and seeks opportunities to proclaim and prove that God is love.

We believe that God is calling, pleading for each human being to get to know and trust Him.  We believe that each individual is saved by their own personal relationship with God, and not by denomination or doctrine.  Through the Bible (which we believe is God's perfect Word) each person can, by guidance of the Holy Spirit, get to know God personally.  All our beliefs and practices come directly from scripture.  We will be glad to discuss the scriptures on which we stand with anyone.

As we individually grow in spiritual and moral maturity, we become less selfish and desire to help others in need.  Sin loses its attractiveness and, as our hearts are recreated, we become more and more harmonious with God and His Word.  The transforming power of God's love produces a Christ like character in each person, forming God's body, to do His work, for His glory.
